zachfrommars Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 hi, am an engg student n for my final project i have to make a software running on windows that telnets a BNG(BROADBAND NETWORK GATEWAY) n the requirement is that i should telnet to a specified bng n from there ping to each of the dslams present n check its status. The problem am facing is that there is a domain lookup is disabled is there when i tried simple redirecting the ping's output to a log file n the other thing is that since it is for a company they wont give me the so called access rights to change the restriction. so my plan is to make a telnet session logging software n in which i will take the pings output n check for the % loss n all then make a log file as to which dslam is alive NEED HELP a lot cause am new to the scene of programming any sort of help is welcome zach Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
