Custom sort order from mysql

Hi,

I have a database with a few thousand records.... when listing the contents i need to be able to change the standard alphabetical order to something predefined. For example, my new alphabet would look something like t,c,d,s,v,u instead of a,b,c,d,e,f,g.... is this possible?

Thanks!

Mike
