argoSquirrel Posted August 31, 2006 Share Posted August 31, 2006 MS SQL uses an integer field with the "IDENTITY" specification to create autogenerating fields.You can set it in a query by using IDENTITY or, if you are using the management studio, it is found in the properties section at the bottom of your table modify panel. It is called "Identity specification" and you need to set it to "yes".
