Grab email and store in mysql

Hi all,

I am working on a project, where i need to grab email and store it in mysql table.

Let me explain further.

Its a slope monitoring system, and a satellite phone will send email through GSM and save it in the written email in firmware. The email server is windows based.

What i need now is to write a PHP script to grab the email from that server and store it in mysql, which is Linux server. So it mean, that i will get email from windows server and save in Linux. But the main part is grabbing email.

The written PHP script will be on Linux server, where cron will run it after one hour to grab email from windows email server.

 

I just need some guidance here OR any article which can help.
