YAHOO mail access via OUTLOOK 2002 fails with reported error (0x800CCC0F)

Over the last few days I have had this problem getting Yahoo emails.

 

the full error is...

 

Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

 

 

I have a ***@yahoo.co.uk account

 

I have used both secure login and non secure and many other options but none work not even the default options.

 

I am able to access my email via the yahoo mail web page as normal.

 

does anyone know why this is happening?

usually all of the major email providers offer instructions for accessing your email account via outlook.  Have you looked at yahoo's help section?
