psuedoknot
Hi everyone! Hope you're all feeling spiffy. http://a9xfk.guqp9.servertrust.com/ <-- test server, identical to live version We recently launched a new eCommerce template on Volusion software. We tested in Firefox, IE7/8. However, in Chrome, Safari and IE6, the featured products on the main page are all pushed out of the main div and align to the right, off the page. I've tried making various container divs, thinking that it was just too big to fit onto the page, but that doesn't seem to be the case. If anyone can figure out a solution or needs extra info, I would appreciate so much I'd be able to solve world hunger. THANKS!!!
saltedm8
not sure what your issue is I will say this though, you have used loads of negative margins, and there are some browsers that don't accept negative values, also, normally to centre a site, you would not use absolutes ( to be honest I don't use absolutes at all ), I would use margin: 0 auto;
psuedoknot
If this helps. Also, if we use 0 auto margins, we can't use the z-index. But I will try it, if it helps!
tapupartforpres
It looks screwy in Firefox and Opera (Mac) as well. The featured items are down at the bottom right.
psuedoknot
Yeah, it'll be moving around. I'm trying to have a container AP div and see if that works.
saltedm8
that is really strange, in firefox and ie6 ( the only browsers I have instant access to ) they look fine [attachment deleted by admin]
psuedoknot
In IE6, it looks like that. Along with Chrome and Safari (and apparently Opera). But IE7/8 and Firefox does magically well.
