HaddenIV
I havent been programing for about 4 years now but am about to take on a personal project to help get me back into the swing of things. Before I stopped I had been simply using edit plus and was wondering if I should just go back to using that or if I should pick up something else. Now with this being a personal project and I dont see myself picking up a profesional project for quite a while I am not looking to spend some crazy amount on a IDE but am not closed minded to spending a bit of cash on a good IDE if its worth it So what do you all think?? move on to a IDE or stick with a text editor?? Calver
I recently started with a text editor, then moved to NetBeans IDE (free) and I've never looked back. It organises my projects, will run xdebug as a plug-in, and I can ftp my files directly to my web host. itaym02
Net Beans or Eclipse+ the PHP plugin give you good service, just make sure your computer is either strong (or running on *nix) Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/177120-php-ide/#findComment-933930 Share on other sites
