umarzuki Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 hi, i'm very new to php and dynamic web programming. i heard that cgi scripting with php can be used to view a linux server's information. ie: eth0 IP address and netmask and can also be used to modify it. is it true? if it is, how can i do this from the beginning (installation) to scripting syntax related to cgi? i had been searching and asking since yesterday and all that i understand that i need to install apache2-mod-php5 but then i don't know how to proceed.
