[SOLVED] Displaying image showing # of players on other sites

Ok so I have a .php file located at:

www.foarpg.com/signature2.php

 

This file is a PNG image dipsplaying a banner showing the # of players I have on my game.

 

I simply want to use this banner for advertising purposes, but cannot figure out how I would show this image, while showing the number if players.

Obviously I cannot include a php file on a website, but instead can include a picture.

 

Does anyone know how I could make this a .png/jpg/gif/etc, but still update the players as I get them?

You would want the url for the image to point back to your server and it doesn't have to be a url to an actual image. It can be a link to a PHP page that will return an image. So, the image could look something like this:

<img src="http://www.mysite.com/playerBanner.php">

 

Then you would want to create a script for that page which will take the template image and dynamically write the number of players on the image object and then serve the image to the requesting process.

I just wanted to know how I could display it as an image, and you just answered that, thanks!

 

I didn't know you could use an image tag to link to a .php page too xD
