Jago6060
Hi all, I'm looking to basically put together a website for myself to act as a resume. The actual info is easy, but I'm stuck on the design. I want to do something professional yet cutting edge. Something to really hightlight my coding skills. I've see some really nice looking sites with overlapping divs/images and the like. I'd like to do something like that but I'm not sure where to begin other than with some sketches. Any help from the pro-designers would be greatly appreciated! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/178624-ideas-for-design/ Share on other sites
nadeemshafi9
i suggest you use a media wiki, like i have or joomla or somthing http://nadeemshafi.co.uk the issue is that you need to adjust the ACL's etc, you wont need any modules of your own you have pretty much everything for a CV there and more. dont download my cv cos its out of date lol make your cv into a blog download a new blog type app if you got php5 on your sys, im stuck with php 4, there are some cool apps out there. http://opensourcecms.com Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/178624-ideas-for-design/#findComment-942135 Share on other sites
tibberous
For some reason I always have trouble with my personal site. A good idea is probably to get the content together before you do anything, at least then you'll know what kind of information you need to make room for.
