hi,

I want to be able to export emails from outlook express to html pages.

I installed xamp cause I could never get a handle on setting up apache with mysql and php... but it works, and it works very well.

I have a good understanding of html and I can copy and paste very well.

I have experimented with many content managers, my fav, SMF... go figure.

Anyway, I got the idea from looking at one of my google groups.

Is there already a script doing this that I can try please ?

I wont pretend to know how to write one myself at this time.

I counted 10 I's !

perhaps this is not yet possible.

if phpfreaks doesnt have any info, then noone does.

my outlook express has many email accts and many folders with mail rules...

be neat to export specific folders' content (emails, after all has been recieved) to relative html pages within my site.

not sure this has already been done, but I cant find this exact process being used.

I am still looking.... blogging/webmail/CMS/Atom

did I mention that the html pages made would be visable to any user ?

Oh and it would be great to run in a windows environment.

So far, the closest I got was running Phorum with a mod that claims to email to forum. But it needs a cron job to do it, or a scheduled task in windows for a certain script.php file.

Thing is when I run the script file nothing happens. The mod doesnt seem to write to the file and I dont know what php codes to put in there.

This thread is more than a year old. Please don't revive it unless you have something important to add.
