Curios Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 I can access the pages using 192.168.2.4:8080, or localhost:8080, but I can't access it with the outside IP. Does anyone have an idea of how I could go about this? Note that I have Belking Wireless Equipment, and I DID forward port 8080. Thanks in advance for any help given! apacheguy Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Run a port scan at grc.com to verify that you correctly opened port 8080. If if shows that the port is closed than your problem is with the config on the router.If you are using XP and have a hardware firewall installed, disable the XP firewall.Check the apache error log.
