julian924s
Hi - hope someone can help with this, running PHP on a FreeBSD / Apache web server and have a question about how to set the file ownership of files uploaded via PHP - is this something that can be configured within php.ini or not? PHP is: PHP 5.2.10 (cgi) (built: Jun 25 2009 11:36:01) Copyright © 1997-2009 The PHP Group Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright © 1998-2009 Zend Technologies I've been through the php.ini file and can see a number of variables that control aspects of file uploads but NOTHING that controls actual ownership. The problem is when I use a test script to upload a file it's got the wrong group ownership, I know I can also use PHP to change the ownership afterwards but I don't want to do this. PHP above as can be seen has been compiled as a CGI and is called via the suexec wrapper in Apache. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Julian.
