Trying To Change Dropdown Option Selected Using Javascript

So, I have 2 addresses on a form: Primary and Other and I am already using a simple checkbox to dynamically write the content of each textbox to the related box (i.e Primary Address content goes to Other Address, etc.). However, I can't get the option selected from the dropdown box to be entered into the related dropdown box.  Here's the 2 things I've tried so far:

 

document.getElementById('Primary_State').option = document.getElementById('Other_State').option;

 

And this is the one that I used and it works for all the other textboxes (which obviously state is not a textbox)

 

document.getElementById('Primary_State').value = document.getElementById('Other_State').value;

Figured it out.  I forgot to add the id to the other select.
