workout car type using passenger numbers, luggage etc.

Hello all,

 

I got a bit of a problem and i dont know how to proceed as i am just a beginner with php. I googled scripts but couldnt find any for my particular problem, I have the following data:

 

Car type pax lug hand/lug

Saloon 4 2 2

Exec 4 2      2

VIP 4 2      2

Estate 4 4 3

MPV   5 5      3

MPV+ 6 6      3

8 Seater 8 8 8

 

each car can carry the above no of passengers as well as luggage. I have four drop down list pax, lug, h/lug and child seat (child seat cannot be equal to or exceed no. of pax)

 

and i want to allocate suitable vehicle based on drop down selection. in drop down passengers: 54, lug: 54 and h/lug: 54.

 

the problem is pax can be many with many bags, therefore multiple vehicles must be reserved whats the best way to handle this? its important the right car(s) are allocated based on capacity i hope i am making sense. thank you
