Place image in dynamically generated RTF document

Can any one tell me how to place an image in a rtf document. Right now i use the following code to generate an rtf document:

 

$letterArray = array();

$letterArray['Name'] = $name; // Replaces the variable in the rtf document with this value

$letterArray['Branch'] = $area;  // Replaces the variable in the rft document with this value

 

$new_rtf = modifier($letterArray, "templates/Card.rtf");

$fr = fopen($output, 'w') ;

fwrite($fr, $new_rtf);

fclose($fr);

 

 

At this point in time i want to input a picture but i dont know how to. Can anyone help me please. Thanks
