However when I tried to test a script that requires connection to PEAR DB (my first encounter with PEAR) using require_once('db.php') or require_once('MDB2.php')I get the following error: Fatal error: Class 'DB' not found in E:\xampp\htdocs\NewPHPProject\php5_david_skelar\da tabase\dd.php on line 10. CODE: __________________________________________________ _________________________________________________ <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> <title></title> </head> <body> <?php require('MDB2.php'); $db = DB::connect('mysql://penguin:top^hat@localhost/openx_db'); ?> </body> </html> __________________________________________________ _________________________________________________ I have a local XAMPP installtion on E: as evident from the path above. XAMPP comes with a PEAR installation by default though not sure if the PEAR installation in configured as per my local environment. I am attaching a copy of pear installation in XAMPP. i AM ALSO ATTACHING THE php.INI & pear.ini PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THE ERROR AS I CANNOT CONTINUE LEARNING. THANK YOU.
