table help.

I'm wanting to create a table 1 row 2 cols in the left col i want everything to stay at the top this because if one col is bigger than the other the other col content centers in middle and it looks messy how would i do this?

I believe what you need to look into is your <tr> and <td> tags and the "colspan" or "rowspan" properties.

 

you might also want to look at the "valign" property for the text
