PHP and MySQL

Hello.

I am in deparate need of some help.

I installed php5 using the package available from http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/.
(I am running OS 10.4.6 on iMac G5)

I followed the instructions carefully and I was successful in calling up the page phpinfo.php to test to see if everything works okay. My big problem lies in the fact that I did not see any of the MYSQL or MSQLi configurations.

As a result, when i try to call up the phpMyAdmin page I get this error.

Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration. - Documentation.

How can I install that extension and related items at  this stage?
