If I disable a text field or text area, it stays white but the content turns grey. If there is no text in the box, the user does not see the box become disabled. Is there a way in CSS to change the field color when they select something that would disable a field? haku Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 If you are disabling the field using javascript, add a class to the element at the same time. Set the disabled display on the class using CSS. If you are disabling the field in your server side processing, add the class there.
