i am using the following  code to print list of records from the data base

at this moment the code is showing list in this way:

 

Pdf File Name       Delete       Download

 

test.pdf test             delete       download

test1.pdf testing     delete       download

test2.pdf testing123    delete       download

 

 

but now what i want is , i will replace the delete and download links with a new column action

when user will mouse over  the action text or image it will show the another div or layer having the

delete and download link.

 

Please guide me how can i do that , i have gone through many jquery examples but could not implement on my code.

do you mean like a confirm box ?  or a dialog ?

i want another div ....not the pop up boxes like javascript alerts.....  the div will contain two options "delete and download"... on mouseout event div will disappear..... the problem is positioning of div on each tr in the table

Hi ,

 

You can do one thing you can add div with uniq id which you get from database.

 

or numeric like 1,2,....

 

Pass that particular id on mouseout event. in function hide div with passed id or show div with passed id and hide all other div s.
