I have am creating a database with two tables a categories table and products table. When I try to create the foriegn key relation I keep getting the 1005 error. I can't figure out why it rejects my relation. I was hoping someone could look at it and see where my error is.

CREATE TABLE categories(
catid int NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY ,
name varchar( 30 ) NOT NULL ,
subcat varchar( 30 ) NOT NULL
);

create table products
(prodid int not null auto_increment primary key,
catid int not null,
description varchar(100) not null,
picture mediumblob,
price decimal(6,2) not null,
quantity int not null,
onsale bool,
FOREIGN KEY (catid) REFERENCES categories(catid)) ENGINE=INNODB;

Thanks in advance
