PHP MYsql WHERE help

Hey guys,

First off thanks for any help given.  Much appreciated.

I'm attempting to create a script to pull inventory.  I've got everything working, however I need a way to set it so that if Value is returned as "ALL" it pulls the entire inventory.

This is what I have thus far.

$make=$_GET["make"];
$model=$_GET["model"];
$result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM VEHICLES WHERE MAKE='$make' AND MODEL='$model'");

How do I do this.  I've been reading and googling for days now, and cannot seem to figure it out.

Like.. what're you trying to pull in the first place.

You said if the Value is 'ALL' but which is the value.. do you mean $make or $model? in any event you wouldn't have a $model if $make is 'all'.. correct?

so do

$query = trim("SELECT * FROM vehicles ".((empty($model))? (($make == 'ALL')? '':"WHERE make = '{$make}'"):"WHERE make = '{$make}' AND model = '{$model}'"));
