fcaserio
I have large experience with PHP but zero contact to LDAP so far. I'm dealing with a new application that has to list all users on an Active Directory (AD 2000). I can connect and bind to the AD server, but I don't understand how to search the AD users. Any help is appreciated tks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/189457-ldap-question-getting-list-os-ad-users/ Share on other sites
iPixel
Save yourself a hell of alot of time my friend and use http://adldap.sourceforge.net/ I've used it to conect LDAP at my workplace and it's a breeze. DOing it yourself you are just begging to get a TON of issues with compaitbilities and stuff. These guys did all the work for you and it's free. fcaserio
tks for the tip I've been trying to use it, and it seems easy to implement. I am authenticating users witl success with the class. However, I still can't run any searches. The AD admin says it has AD 2000 version installed, and this version doesn't accept search parameters. Any suggestion? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/189457-ldap-question-getting-list-os-ad-users/#findComment-1003251 Share on other sites
