Oscommerce slow down with over 12 lac records.

Hi everybody,

 

I am working on OScommerce and my database ends up with about 12 lac records. So the site became very slow. Every record have image too.

 

I am not sure that this problem caused due to database(MySql) or Oscommerce limitations.

If i have to optimize the query then please suggest the best way to do.
