Dotted border when clicking on an image: How do I remove this?

Recommended Posts

I just finished installing and customizing this jquery slider and I replaced the 'prev' 'next' arrows.  When you click my new arrows though, you will notice that there is a dotted border underneath the image similar to the 'a:active' element.  This wasn't there on the original version, but I can't figure out how to get rid of it.  Can anyone help me out?

Click the < and > arrows on the image slider and you'll see the dotted border.  Click the images being slid through and you can see that they do not have this.
