I need help with server PLEASE

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

I am very new to this forum and I hope it has a lot of knowledge with in the group.

Here is my issue:

5 days ago my local IIS server crushed and I was very lucky but I has all the work folder in different drive form OS.

I rebuild server reinstall OS ( win 2003 server) Install and configured IIS6.0.

I configure home directory ( on different drive)

and got ready to install php.

I download the latest version 5.2.12win32-installer.msi

I had red details and i download FASTCGI versionfcgisetup_1.5_rtwX86.msiand install before start installing php

During installation pop-up notify me that it cannot find fastcgi

I had try to reinstall it again and again with out any success, so I download Active perl and try to use it as a part of the installation and It got installed but ( is it always a BUT) it do not work on the server.

The funny part is that I had it install and configure before on original server and it work fine I had be able to test and run Word Press and Jumla sample sites and work on other designs involve MySQL and php.

Any way i had spent 4 hours going back and forth and I cannot make it work....

Now I am desperately PIST and need some input..

Please advise

I thank you in advance
