dkhakh Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 I want to get all the whitespaces in my string. here is the format of my string "string<space>=string<space>#string<\n>" this is what i tried to do but ofcourse it did not work $result = preg_split("/#|=| /", "name =abcd #132542") i want my result to look like this $result[0] = name $result[1] = (whitespace between name and =) not just one space but whatever the actual whitepace is $result[2] = abcd $result[3] = (whitespace between abcd and #) $result[4] = 132542 thanks for any help Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/190114-simple-regex-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
