I am a complete noob when it comes to osCommerce and PHP so be gentle. I need step by step instructions on how to set user permissions. This is my first store and I am getting a bit frustrated because I can not figure this out. My server is on Linux.

Thanks in advance,

Rev. Melissa Lane

Dude, be paranoid with oscommerce. Make sure you use the latest information from their forums and website, osCommerce seems to have a few exploits here n there, and requires additional security modules to be at least reasonably safe.

There are good security tutorials if you still want to go with osCommerce, just google something like osCommerce Security.

Good luck,
