removing validate feature, and enable user to login straight after registration

I ran into a problem which is partly my fault, since up until now I have a working login system. My friend had pointed me out to a collection of scripts at: http://ivannovak.com/jp77/jp77-system-2-0-4a-released/, which I used and deleted my original code.

 

the problem here is that my project does not permit me to host the site on an online server, so I'm pretty much stuck on my laptop. And the problem here is that the code sends out a confirmation e-mail to the user registered. And since I can't host it on a site, I can't login unless I receive a confirmation e-mail, which is unlikely to happen.

 

What I have in mind is to modify it so that as soon as the user is registered, he can simply log into the site without needing to open a confirmation e-mail. Another friend of mine has suggested that I have a captcha on the registration instead.

 

 

Has anyone else on this site uses the scripts, and does anyone know how to make it happen?
