Function not defined error

Hi guys,

 

I use firebug to debug my javascript coding.

And its giving me the following error.

I scoured the net but cannot find an answer.

Im sure its  simple thing that I have overlooked.

 

the error is "save_prices is not defined"

and below is the code.

 

arr_prices = new Array();

function save_prices(price) {
arr_prices.push(price);
}

 

the price value is sent through php by the following code.

 

echo "<script language=javascript>save_prices($tprices)</script>";

 

what am i doing wrong in this?

can some one help by shedding some light on this issue?

Not sure about this but try declaring your script tag with the "type" property. Language is a deprecated property
