mfleischner
I'm looking for some help. I'm totally new with .php. The majority of my site http://www.marketingscoop.com is built in htm. However, I just joined a link building website that said they need a MySQL database. I logged into my host account and it looks like I have an MS SQL database for http://www.marketingscoop.com. Can anyone tell me if I need to get a MySQL database or will PhP work on MS SQL?Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/19416-php-and-mysql/ Share on other sites
wildteen88
PHP can work with lots of SQL databases, MSQL, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc. Go to http://php.net/mssql for more info. For a list of the mssql functions scroll down to the Table of Contents heading when you click the link above Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/19416-php-and-mysql/#findComment-84303 Share on other sites
