I have encoded an image using base64binary and cant decode it back into a jpeg.

I have then taken the echoed "encode_img($image)" and hard coded it as the variable $Source to try to decode it back into a jpeg with no luck. Please Help.

I've encoded an image into a base64binary string and wanted to decode it into a file being "MyCar.jpg" for test purposes.

 

The problem i am having is that the image is created but i get an error when trying to open it saying the image appears to be damaged, corrupt or to large.

This is weird i just tried it with the thumbnail and it worked perfectly:

It works and produces the $Source string found in php code in the the attached .zip file.

 

The $Soruce string in your first post is both not long enough (the size should be approximately double the original file) nor does it start with the expected characters.

Wow that was mental and ive spent just over two day on this and the problem was:

 

The string was too big to be displayed on my web browser(chrome), so when i copied it, the full string was never displayed.

 

I had to ouput the base64binary string into a text file before i could then try the second section of my code.

 

Now all i need to figure out is how to do it on the fly.
