spenceddd
Hi, I was just wondering if it's possible to get a value from a form on a page even though a different form on that same page initiated the post action. The other form on the page also has a post action....? Thanks a lot. Spencer
aeroswat
Just curious but what's the reason for having the multiple forms?
spenceddd
Because one form has action to do on one page and another has an action on a different page. Good question though. I'm a novice php er. So should I be able to do everything on the same form...? Hmm. Ok Ill give it a go. Thanks for pointing that out! If you do everything on the same form and then have 1 php action page then you can use an if statement to see which button was clicked. Having multiple submit buttons. This of course all depends on what you are doing. If both forms are related then they should be 1 form but if they are completely different then they should be separate forms. Post more if you need some help once you've come to a decision on that
