Has Anyone Used Carp?

Hi All,

I have recently tried to upload a product from Antone Roundy called http://affiliateafterburner.com/.

It uses a couple of Rss to Html converters called Carp and Grouper.

have tried to set this up about three times but I keep getting this error...

mb_convert_encoding() [function.mb-convert-encoding]: Illegal character encoding specified in /home/#####/carp/carp.php on line 562

the code to call the funtion is...

Can anyone please help me to understand what is the problem, any help is Greatly Appreciated.
