Tonic-_- Posted March 24, 2010 Share Posted March 24, 2010 Just recently bought a server and installed everything needed but I noticed something that is really bothering me. file_get_contents hangs down my scripts and sometimes curl is slower than what it was on a shared host... But the real question is if there is a way to tweak file_get_contents to run faster configuration wise and not just script wise. I mean my servers specs are no where close to weak... Xeon X3440 8GB ram, 100mbps uplink so its not like it would be because of the servers hardware being to weak. It really is bothering me because file_get_contents worked so fast on my old host.
