Hi,

I have a join query where I want to get a distinct of one of the fields which I am returning and it doesn't seem to work...

Here is the query

// Perform the join query
		  $query = "select DISTINCT (course.name) AS coursename, school_course.school_id, school_course.course_id, course.course_id, course.level, course.price, school.school_id
		  FROM school_course
		  JOIN course
		  ON school_course.course_id = course.course_id
		  JOIN school
		  ON school_course.school_id = school.school_id
		  WHERE school_course.school_id = '$school'
		  ORDER BY course.name";

Any ideas would be greatly received

Thanks

Dean
