Help with this php/ajax cropping script!

Hey guys, Basically im not advanced at either php or ajax and im still learning as i go along. I came along this script and i want to know if its possible to do what im asking with it and how i would go about doing it.

 

Basically the script is just an image crop script at the moment, if you click the link you will see it in action. When you drag the square on the image to crop it, i dont want it to crop i want it to output the image and the area where the i put the resizeable square to be blank or blured.

 

I want to allow users to upload an image and drag the square to blur certain parts of the image ive attached an example image to show what i mean.
