AtomicRax Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 I'm trying to authenticate user login information. Currently I have: if(isset($_POST[user])) { $user = $_POST[user]; $password = $_POST[password]; $saltedPassword = crypt($password, $mdsalt); $passQuery = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM user_accounts WHERE user='$user' LIMIT 1"); $password = mysql_result($passQuery,0,"password"); if($saltedPassword == $password) { // Login } else { // Error } How ever, I get this error message: mysql_result(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource I've double checked the information I'm trying to login with, it's all correct..but for some reason I still get this message.
