Ohboy
Hi, I'm new to Php programming so forgive me if this is a noob question. Right now in my PHP scripts I'm using the actual name of database, host, username and password to connect to MySql database. Is there a way in which I can set all these values to a variable in one place like we do in C++ iusing #define and use that variable everywhere I need it?. So that in case any change occurs I won't have to look for them everywhere and change them individually. I know there must be a way to do this. Can you please point me in any direction? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/197854-need-help-setting-global-varriables/ Share on other sites
taquitosensei
put this in a php file that you include anywhere you'd need these define("YOUR_GLOBAL_VARIABLE_NAME","value"); Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/197854-need-help-setting-global-varriables/#findComment-1038283 Share on other sites
