preg replace problem

somewhere in this code is messing up.  anytime i submit a message with an apostrophe it has a slash before it.  I can't find where the fault is..

Some of the preg_replace doesn't have the delimiters in the regexp.

 

Are you sure it's that part that is messing up? Do you do anything with the return value or the value before you passed it into the function?

What value is returned from get_magic_quotes_gpc ?
