ralphch
I'm a PHP developer currently managing an outsourced project for a web application, in which the developers are using CodeCharge Studio as the development platform. Does anyone have experience with this? And, if so, what are your thoughts? Is this a reasonable platform to develop PHP in, or does it have a lot of inefficiencies? I would really appreciate your thoughts, as I would like to ensure that this platform choice does not get in the way of building sound, easily customizable and stable application. Thanks, Ralph Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/199555-does-anyone-have-experience-with-codecharge-studio/ Share on other sites
ignace
Is this a reasonable platform to develop PHP in, or does it have a lot of inefficiencies? Even notepad is a reasonable platform to develop PHP in. It all depends on your needs, platforms like NetBeans, Eclipse PDT, PhpStorm allow you to extend it's platform by using plugins. I personally like PhpStorm because of it's heavy focus on productivity (they provide you with a 1-page categorized cheat sheet that contains all keyboard shortcut's for an even higher productivity). They also include Zen Coding for HTML & CSS.
