Sianna
I'll just get to the point. I need someone that has some free extra time to actually give me help, preferably through an instant messenger or something. -- I'm fluent in HTML/CSS but PHP is a totally different story. Long story short, I thought I had someone to do this for me only to find out that they really had no idea what they were doing, and in the end left me totally confused, unable to comprehend what I was supposed to be doing, and frustrated. I really want to get this going. If you're this person and give a girl a helping hand please let me know. -- Please do not link me to help sites, that is not what I'm after. Thank you very much, - Sianna. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/199810-seeking-partner-for-help/ Share on other sites
Ken2k7
Allow me to link you to the Rules. This is a PHP Coding Help forum. Please post in the correct forum next time. Psycho
What, exactly, are you wanting? I don't see a question being asked. This forum is for people asking for help with specific PHP code. Are you wanting someone to teach you PHP or are you wanting someone to write the code for a specific project? If the latter, then I'll move this post to the freelancing section. If the former, well, that's quite a tall order. The more specific your request, the more likely you are to get a good response. Sianna
Sorry for posting this in the wrong section, it can be moved. I'm looking for someone to help me in general. So yes, it would be a teaching me sort of thing, by means of generosity I guess. Not to walk me through it step-by-step because I am quite capable of doing a lot myself, but I would like someone on hand that can fluently explain something to me if need be, and not just link me somewhere or give me the wrong solution/answer. Not sure if anyone is willing to be at your beck and call whenever you have a question. But, this forum should suffice. Walk through the code you have and when you run into an issue, post here with the specifics of the problem you are having and the code in question. Be sure to identify what you expect the code to do and what it is or is not doing. I'm sure someone will provide an answer. Ken2k7
Sianna, I see where you're going with this and well, this forum is considered free help already. So if you have something you don't understand, please do not hesitate to post. You'll probably get answers faster here than if you were to have someone on hand because that someone most likely have a life and can't be by your side 24/7. I won't say that people won't post links, but I will say that they are helpful links and usually with examples. If something is already explained in writing on a site, there's no need to repeat it, right?
