I'm trying to get two backgrounds to show at the same time, but for one to overlay the other. I have one, for the whole background, and another that goes in the middle on the y axis I have tryed: <style type="text/css"> background-image: www.mysite.com/images/bg.gif; background-image: www.mysite.com/images/bg2.gif; </style> And... <style type="text/css"> background-image: www.mysite.com/images/bg.gif; </style> <body background="www.mysite.com/images/bg2.gif"> But it's not working. Here's an example: <div id="backgroundone"> <div id="backgroundtwo"> </div> </div> You can then style everything with css. Try this. patriklko Posted May 15, 2010 Share Posted May 15, 2010 <div> tag is most efficient to display the two backgrounds which can overlay each other but if there is any browser compatibility issue than u can use nested tables by setting the width and height to display the appropriate effect of overlay layers.....
