iJoseph Posted May 8, 2010 Share Posted May 8, 2010 How would I make a div's height 100%? This is my code: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>Untitled Document</title> <style type="text/css"> <!-- body { background-image: url(images/bg1.gif); } .main { background-image: url(images/bg.gif); background-repeat: repeat-y; background-position: center; height: 100%; } --> </style></head> <body> <div class="main"> <table border="0" width="100%" height="100%"> <tr> <td height="21"> </td> <td width="960px"><p>Howdie</p></td> <td></td> </tr> </table> </div> </body> </html> But it's not working, any ideas? Bar2aYunie Posted May 8, 2010 Share Posted May 8, 2010 What do you want to display? The 100% height of the table or is it the background you wish to view for 100%? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
haku Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 It may also help to explain what you are trying to do - this is a question often asked, and usually refers to someone trying to get the footer to stick to the bottom of the page - in which case you would use a slightly different method than the one you are asking about.
