Chat app, need help.

Hello.

 

I'm very new to Flash, so please explain everything easy.

 

I'm making a Chat app for my website.

I have the design ready in Flash (Action scriot 3.0).

Now I need some help making the app retrieve the data ( Messages ) from MySQL.

 

Is it the easiest and best thing if i make a PHP script that retrieves the data form MySQL?

 

But how can I pass the data over the Flash again?

 

And how do i "lanche" the php from Flash?

 

You don't need to answer all these questions, just give me some guideness, I'm the one who shall make the app, not you guys

use a php file to retreieve data from mysql to flash

from flash call loadVars to call the php
