Contact Form submit without reload of page

Hello, i took this form since it was the only dropdown contact form i found, but it's functional only on the visual side, it doesn't actually send mail. So, i tried using a php form with it. Problem is, when mail() executes it refreshes the page trying to output a confirmation message, which the javascript form already has but becomes useless.

So i'm wondering if you know of any way to silently send the mail without response from the server.
