Hi,

As this forum has helped me a ton so far I have one last question to finish my work off.

I would like to make it so that when a user clicks a button a standard browser pop-up box appears and the user is then prompted to type in a password.

This can be basic, no need for; user names, multiple passwords anything like that just a set password. can that be done?

Not a great response but a start!

I would counter, not a great question. There are so many variables involved and you have supplied zero information on your current environment, setup, etc.

LOL 1 point!!!..hahaha..

You like something like this?

<head>
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
function prompter() {
var reply = prompt("Hey there, good looking stranger!  What's your name?", "")
alert ( "Nice to see you around these parts " + reply + "!")
}
//-->
</script>
</head>
<body>
<input type="button" onclick="prompter()" value="Say my name!">
</body>
