Since you want it to run regardless of whether the IF condition is true or not, just

<?php require_once('configuration.php');
if(xxxxx)
{
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
}
else
{
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
}
include('test.php');
