Cannot load /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp5.so into server

Hi, I am new to apache, php and mysql and have encountered a strange problem since rebooting a Solaris 10 server, which has mediawiki-1.15.1 running. After rebooting the server, I noticed that the wiki is no longer working when anyone tries to access the page.  After checking SMF, I saw that the apache2-freeware service is in an maintenance state.  I checked the log file and saw the following : -

httpd: Syntax error on line 114 of /usr/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp5.so into server: ld.so.1: httpd: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.8: symbol libiconv_set_relocation_prefix: referenced symbol not found

[ Jun  8 14:20:05 Method "refresh" exited with status 1 ]

I confirmed that both library files exist so I am confused as to why the error is occurring, as the apache service and wiki were running fine before the reboot. I spend a few days searching for a solution but have been unable to resolve this.  Any help with this would be much appreciated.
